There cannot be a direct comparison between KVPY and JEE mains. KVPY is more of an application and research based exam which thoroughly tests your understanding and application of learnt concepts. KVPY is an exam for encouraging the students aspiring for career as scientists and researchers. Whereas, JEE mains exam is to test the basics of the concepts and formula applying ability of the student.
