Hello Ashutosh,

The exam name is self sufficient to answer this question. As we all know JEE exams consist of two exams ;

JEE MAINS is a first stage of an exam .it is basically for those who wants to get admission in B.E / B.TECH courses in various engineering colleges like IIT,NIT etc.

This exam consist of two papers:

Paper 1 and Paper 2

Paper 1 for the students who wants to get admission in B.E/ B.TECH course while Paper 2 is for the one who wants to get admission in B.Arch  and B.Planning course .

JEE MAINS : it is an objective based exam so time management and accuracy is the key point and for this exam NCERT BOOKS are sufficient.

JEE ADVANCE : you can give this exam after clearing the cut off score in JEE MAINS.it is a diffcult exam because it requires a knowledge in great depth and it can be objective or subjective depends on the changing pattern.

Hope you get your answer.

Hello,

JEE mains is the kid of JEE advance and difficulty level of JEE Advanced is much higher than lots if examinations in India.A lot of people will not agree to this but apart from hardwork, a candidate must possess some talent to go through and succeed in this exam.

I hope this helps.

Hello Ashutosh,

JEE advance is considered more tough that JEE main. According to a survey, JEE advance is among the top 3 most difficult exams in the world. But now due to new government rules, it has asked NTA to reduce the level of JEE main and advance so that more and more students can qualify the exam, and the seats that remain vacant in IITs and NITs due to lack of students can be reduced.

JEE advance is based on the deep understanding of concepts. It is more of practical knowledge and concept application based, whereas JEE main, is more of theoritical and conceptual base.

hope this helps

Hi there hope you are doing really well. Definitely JEE advanced is much difficult than JEE mains . JEE mains usually ask easy questions based on your NCRT concepts and the level of questions is not much higher. But in JEE advanced the questions are asked in advance level concepts which are very tough and require a lot of practice for giving the solutions. Hope this will help you good luck.
