Which is much better for me.. Aiims paramedical or Aiims bsc hons nursing? Plzz help.. In respect of name and money both!
Dear Divya, there are 2 paramedical courses in AIIMS. B.Sc (Hons) in Medical Technology and Radiology and Bachelor of Optometry. And then there is B.Sc (Hons) Nursing. For all these courses, online applications have started on November 30th.
After B. Sc in Medical Technology and Radiology, you can pursue My.Sc or you can be employed as an MRI Technician, X-ray Technician and you can also work in blood banks, pathology laboratories and nursing homes. As a Fresher you can earn anything between 120,000 to 200,000 INR per annum. As your experience goes by, your package also increases. This package is a general range to give you an idea. However, the package varies from city to city.
Coming to B.Sc Nursing, you can pursue your M.Sc Nursing or join as a Nurse in any hospital. You might just start as a junior nurse and become a Head Nurse eventually. You can even try your career at Teaching in a Nursing college. And then there are MNCs which hire you for their health care projects as well. You can start working in KPOs too. The package for a B.Sc Nursing professional also remains the same like for a B.Sc Medical Technology professional.
And coming to the respect part, as long as you believe in dignity of labour, every job is worth respecting.
