UEM is a newly opened private university  which will not have so good an alumni base too. On the other hand, BESC was established somewhere around 1966, so it has pretty much good repute and alumni base as compared to UEM. Both are private and have the course duration of 3 years. So choose wisely! I would say, get an insider view before taking any decision from any of your elders or relatives who have been there.

Bhawanipur Education Society College is a pretty good college under University of Calcutta and this college has good placements but only few companies come for recruitment. But in terms of placement University of Engineering and Management has no comparison with Bhawanipur Education Society college. University of Engineering and Management has better ranking and rating. Even the placement opportunities are impressive. However, UEM is one of the best private universities of Kolkata rather West Bengal. The BBA course is backed up by renowned faculties. All the necessary skills and knowledge are provided to the students. This university also encourages students who are intersted in Entrepreneurship. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies. BYJU'S, TCS, Capgemini, Powell Industries, Extramarks Education, Jaro education, Concentrix etc are the recruiters of BBA graduates of this college. However the college is a little strict in discipline and punctuality. Attendance is plays a great role. However the course fee is quite higher than Bhawanipur Education Society but in terms of ROI, you cam go for it.
