Which is the best bio related course in comparison of biotechnology pharmacy and forensic science?
Hello,
Harish
To start with, there are a lot of courses in the department of Science. There is no comparison between the courses. Every course has a different foundation. Every course requires a different approach and set of skills.
Science is equivalent to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The two combinations are PCB and PCM which are the medical and engineering in a narrow way.
- The best courses in the medical field are as follows –
M.B.B.S. - 5 years course duration
BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) - 4 years course duration
B.Sc. (Bachelor of Medical Sciences) - 3 years course duration
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences) - 4 years course duration
BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) - 5 years course duration
BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) - 3 years course duration
- The Bachelor of Science (hons.) can be done in various subjects like Agriculture, Physiology, Operation Theatre Technology, Industrial Microbiology, Dialysis, Radiography, Pathology, Forensic Science, etc. There are various diplomas like Radiography, Nursing, Clinical Pathology, Physiotherapy, etc.
- Each program falls into different divisions. Some of these deal with skills and techniques like Dentistry or Pharmacy, whereas some of them are research oriented like Microbiology and Forensic Science.
There are numerous options, all that matters is your interests and preferences. Follow your choices and it will turn out to be the best for you.
I hope your queries are solved. If you want to know anything else, feel free to leave a comment.
Good Luck!
Hi there..
It all depends on your interest and the future plans. These three courses are the applied fields but with differences in approach and scientific skills. Undergraduate degree in pharmacy may give you quick expertise in the techniques as well as an average job whereas, forensic and biotechnology are vast fields and it will require at least a master degree to develop the skills and expertise generally used to solve the scientific issues. From my experience, you can learn a lot from microbiology or biotechnology courses if you are looking for research oriented career.
Hope it helps.
