Hey!

ECE will help you secure a job both in software sectors and electronic sector whereas IT will only help you to secure a job in software related sector. Next, If you are interseted more in the part of coding then you must join IT , also coding is in demand in India so it has a good scope in future. But if you have an interest in semiconductors and a little bit in software/application then opt for ECE.

If you are an average student then you must join IT as you will be taught coding from basics, but if you join ECE being an averag estudent then things will get difficult for you.
