Which is the best college for CSE between Dr. B. C. Ray engineering college and Academy of Technology?

As per Ranking of West Bengal State engineering colleges by Careers360.com, the Academy of Technology (ranking 18) has better ranking than Dr. B.C. Roy engineering college (ranking 26).

Academy of Technology has better infrastructure, faculty and placement. So it will be a better choice than Dr. B.c. roy engineering college.

College Campus (7/10) -: You should not expect an IIT or VIT type campus, It's Somehow better than some School type/apartment campus of Engineering colleges in West Bengal and Capital. During college life, you want to find an environment where you can express your personality freely. I will upload a few pics here.



Placement (5/10) -: If you are from CS/ IT, then the placement is decent (considering the level of college). You can check placement here.http://www.bcrec.ac.in/placement...53/120 In Campus placement. Placement of core branch is really poor. 0.0/10.



Functions and ECA (3/10) -: No need to explain this here! but yes there are positive vibes. This year college organized Tech Fest. though it was like school organized functions. whatever but they (Seniors and Admin) tried well.



Faculty and Education:- I am not qualified to answer this Because I am in the first year tucked studying basic Science. and honestly, I didnt find a professor whom I can say professor of a good Engineering college except for SK sir (Mechanics), and PKS sir (Computer Science, Introduction to C language course ). Math faculty(s) are good.



Environment :- Its all about how you want to live and enjoy here, There are seniors who will taught you how to manage your study or some pro tips. I found this type of seniors in single digit number, like number of post graduates in Bangladesh. half of them are pass out. half of seniors enjoy their life without disturbing the assembly house. and rest are real engineer who will taught you What is engineering.
