Yes, the best engineering colleges are iits. And among all the iits IIT MADRAS is the best engineering college in India and is backed by IIT DELHI, IIT BOMBAY, IIT KHARAGPUR and IIT KANPUR.
Iit madras as well as other iits have a very good job placements. The highest package in all the top three iits, crosses Rs. 1 crore per annum. And the average package is also very decent for these iits. And lowest package for these iits is the average package of many colleges.
Also if we are talking in terms of placements, then jadavpur university is also not behind. The students of jadvpur university aslo bagged off campus placement of Rs. 1.2 crore per annum. And how we can forget nit trichy as well as nit rourkela and nit Warangal. These top nits are also very good in terms in placements.
