Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural Study(SACON), Coimbatore is considered to be one of the best institutions to study Ornithology. It is located at the foothills of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, which is beneficial as it is easier to visit nearby locations to study more about birds.

But in SACON doesn't have bsc ornithology. It only has PG couses only
