Hi, Harshit

All three courses are pretty different

B.Com hons. and BMS are the general courses. Professionally speaking both of them are high in demand but you can only do M.Com or MBA after these.

Whereas Eco hons. is a specialised course. You will study both Eco and Maths side by side at your graduation level. The economics will be more in depth. Further, you can opt for MBA, M.E or for Indian Economic Services.

So, pursue the course in which you are most interested so that it can be a benefactor to you in your further professional line.

All the best.

Hello Harshit,

According to me the best career option that you can have after getting above 95 in Economics, Mathematics and Accounts is B.A. (Hons) Economics because it will cover all your subjects in your six semester graduation study and then you will be able to march towards becoming our India's Economist (if you prefer) or you can go anywhere you want because after pursuing your graduation in Economics you will be able to critically analyse everything that is going on in our country.

The colleges and Universities that offer B.A.(Hons) Economics are enormous in number but I would suggest you to choose University of Delhi because being a central university of the country it holds a great image over it's degree. As D.U. have a range of many colleges from South campus Venky College to North campus SRCC.

Since I don't know all your marks therefore I hope you will be able to come in the merit list of the Colleges.

Anyway if you fail to make it to any of the college's cutoff there is a option of going into B.A. (Hons) Business Economics being a professional course it is entrance based.

I hope I was able to suggest you a good career option. Will be looking forward to help you further.

Hello Harshit,I would suggest you to not to be panic instead analyse your abilities and think in which field you will be most comfortable. Since CA is quite popular in the school days and I also preferred it during my school days but when I saw the duration I decided to go for the best option that I can make count on myself. Right now you are quite confused since it's the stage of dilemma. And Since all three are great courses with totally different aspects B.Com will lead you to more accounting, B.A.(Hons) Economics will lead you to Economy on the other BMS i.e. Bachelor of Management Studies would lead you to Management on the other hand B.B.E. i.e. B.A.(Hons) Business Economics would lead you to make the combination of both management and economist and I have a very good friend of mine who pursued C.A. and cleared all its levels along with B.B.E. You have abundant of opportunities after your graduation in any of the fields and yes you can join Civil Services also after graduation in any of these streams but I would suggest that for a backup you should do a professional course which will make you a living even if there is no door open in future. You can go for defence services also after graduating in any of the above fields.I hope I was to clear your query if you still have anything to ask I am here for you. Just appreciate my work by following me and upvote my answer.

Hello Ashish,Firstly I would suggest you to apply for both the options given by University of Delhi i.e. Merit based for B.com and B.A. (Hons) Economics and Entrance based i.e. D.U. JAT for BMS AND B.B.E. respectively and in this time period analyse yourself and your abilities. Learn something new and involve your parents in your decision and then also if you are not able to decide then I would suggest you to either go for B.A. (Hons) Economics {if you can make upto that cutoff list} or go for B.A. (Hons) Business Economics because it's a professional course and will make you a combo of both management and economist. And if you are selected in both of the courses then you can ask me again. But I personally insist you to go for the professional course i.e. B.B.E.  as after B.B.E. you will get a sure shot Option of Job if graduated from Shaheed Sukhdev (A college of University of Delhi)
