Hello Aspirant,

In Engineering, you should have to keep focus on your interest streams, rather than go with flow. You should have a clear vision before selecting any stream, of why are selecting it. In between CSE and ECE, both the streams have huge scope and demands in future. From CSE you can go further for AI development, machine learning and Robotics, Cloud computing etc, And from ECE you can study further in space communications signal analyzing and related fields.

So, go ahead and seek the highest first.

All the best for your future.

Thank you.

Dear aspirant,

Both are equivalently good sector.CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough.Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.

Electronics is still an emerging sector in India and after the “make in India” thing we see a lot of boost in this sector but day by day it’s becoming hard to survive in sector related to CSE. More efficient people with lesser salary are available to work for the company and that is why people start getting kicked out during recession but since ECE has a demand everywhere, there might be a chance that you survive the heat.

Also you want to work in field, you can apply for IES (Indian Engineering Services) which enables you to directly work as an executive engineer in government companies like BSNL,RAILWAY(RAILTEL),etc.Generally it takes around around 6 years to get stipend of executive engineer but cracking this exams enables you to have your promotions starting from executive engineer.

Lastly I would say that ECE won’t be an easy subject and if you are an average student then you should go for CSE as you will get easy placements but for ECE you need to work really hard.

Hope I answer your question.

Good luck!

Hi Ravikumar, it all depends on your area of interest. What you like. No branch can be said as better than the other in general.

If you like coding and stuff, go for CSE. Usually packages of Cse students are more than Average Ece student. But if you don't like coding, then don't take Cse. Never.

So, it all depends on what you would like to do in your future.

Hope this helps. Regards.

Hello Ravikumar,

Cse and Ece both have the importance in their field. It is depend on the student that in which field he have the interest.

Now a days, most of the student take the cse branch because in present every field have the use of programming.

Hello dear aspirant

In the current scenario,  the demand for computer science engineers is much more than the need of electrical engineers. So is the placement scenario,  the placement of B. Tech cse is greater than B. Tech ece. So ,  I would suggest you to opt for computer science engineering.
