As there is no guarantee of future but generally students choose core branches like CS, ME, ECE,EE etc as these are the most demanding branches among students. Also, in these branches PSUs also recruit good number of vacancies and  salary depends on the organisation which you are associated with as if at the time of interview you perform really well and you have got very good academics also then the possibility of getting job at good package would be positive. So it would be better if you focus on your preparation as of now and try to give your best to get recruited in good company at very good package.

Look comp snc is those kind of branch, jo aap chahte ho. Iska salary bohot high hota hein, magar ekbr agr bura vaqt ayein toh ek printing engineer se v battar ho jata hein. Uske baren Mein koi kuch nehein keh sakta, sabme ups & downs hote hein toh behtr hein jisme tumhara interest hein usko lehkr pado, toh hi kuch ho payega

Brother This is India none of them can tell what will happen after 4 yrs. Every branch in engineering is very good and decent. So let's see what govt think about us after 4 yrs because in India all the funny politicians are ruling they think about themselves.
