Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in Punjab. There are good placements opportunities as starting from start ups to to MNCs - all come for recruitment. However, going by placement records, most of the drives are for Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, electronics and computer and Mechanical engineering students.
