- Agriculture Biotechnology or "Agritech" is an up and coming field as the use of principles of biotechnology in the field of agriculture has become very prominent in the past couple of years. You might have heard of a variety of transgenic crops and their benefits, think Bt Cotton. But in India it is not that popular as of now, so the scope and future for an undergraduate is not that good. Wide opportunities open up if you do PG. India is largely an agricultural country, so the opportunities will only increase with time.
