Bsc Nursing admission process is conducted in two ways : Merit and entrance exam based. Although, most of the Universities and Colleges in india consider Entrance exam based admission.

Therefore, you need to give these below mentioned Entrance exams to get admission in Bsc Nursing.

BSc Nursing Entrance Exams include AIIMS Exam, NEET, MNS Entrance Exam, DSAT, JIPMER , etc. As the admissions in most of the bsc nursing colleges are offered on the basis of the entrance examinations. Candidates will have to sit for them after the registration process is done.

BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria :-

Students can choose from the two course options - BSc (Basic) and BSc (Post-Basic), the eligibility criteria for the two is mentioned below:

  • BSc (Basic) – Candidates must have passed class 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and should be medically fit.

  • BSc (Post-Basic) –Candidates must have passed class 12th in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). The candidate has to get a certificate in GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) and register him/herself as RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) from the State Nurses Registration Council.

Candidates have to submit a proof of training by Indian Nursing Council or equivalent in the following domain:

  • OT (Operation Theatre) Techniques

  • Community Health Nursing

  • Psychiatric Nursing

  • Ophthalmic Nursing

  • Leprosy Nursing

  • TB Nursing

  • Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing

  • Cancer Nursing

  • Orthopaedic Nursing
