- Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
- College of Agriculture, extended Campus of BCKV , Burdwan.
- Institute of Agriculture Science, University of Calcutta.
- Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
- Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibers. Barracpore, West Bengal.
Candidates must be a permanent domicile of West Bengal. They must have to pass English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Agriculture securing at least 50%(40% for SC/ST/PH) marks.
The application fees is Rs. 600 INR (available in online mode).

- Visva Bharati University, West Bengal -Central University

The agriculture college under Viswabharati University, Bolpur was the best. It's in Sreeniketan. Then you have the Agriculture College under Kalyani University too. Don't know which is the better one, at present. Then Viswabharati being an University under the central government, should be much better and have more funds alloted as it is under central government.
