i personally know a doctor one from aiims and other from state medical college both are specialist of same field for ground of comparison

Believe me in terms of opd skill and no. Of surgeries and trust of people doctor who learnt from state medical college is far better than who did it from aiims



So dear its not the college it you

Your hardwork that will make you better doctor

No doubt studying in aiims provide you better opportunities and a prestigie of course a balanced crowd but again it upto you how you use in proper dimension

When it comes to government versus private, usually the government colleges are the best, there is tremendous inflow of patients and that gives you great  exposure of hands on and clinical practice.

Firstly i would clarify the concept of best medical college on a different term. Everyone would give you different answers pertaining to the best Med Colg in India.



No doubt AIIMS is best place to study but i would sincerely advise you to short list the colleges as per as your rank and visit a few selected and more prefered by you. Have a look around the college and Hospital. Also talk with students who are studying in those colleges. It gives you a real time experience abt that specific college and then co relate it with your future prospects. For eg does college promote student research, conducts medical fest etc.



Although i donot wish to endorse any name or ranking of any medical college here are the list of few good medical colleges in india.
