Kgec is good m.tech as it has 3 department for m.tech. highly qualified teaching staffs.  NIITR is good but as far as placement is concerned kgec has better placement records.

Hi there,

KGER

Placements :There are average placements in the college, but the placement cell is trying to improve the placements to be better than the previous years. They need good companies that want good engineers. IT sector companies are their main recruiters, and they need many companies from manufacturing sectors. The government, college authorities and alumni help them in placements.

Infrastructure :There is excellent infrastructure in this  college. The government of West Bengal is busy in developing this college. The college authorities are working hard every day to make this college one of the best colleges in India. Everything like lab, classrooms, central library, sports and games, music, etc. are good and sufficient for the student life. Hostel rooms and the food are very good. Wi-Fi facility is available, but it is still not available to the first-year students.

Faculty :The faculty members are outstanding. Every professor and staff are busy in making us creative engineers. Thr technical staff members are also PhD holders.

Other :They have opportunities to join workshops every week. The events are nice, and the fest is excellent. The campus crowd is cool and friendly. The connectivity is good, and scholarships are also available. Many extracurricular activities are conducted for students to relax.
