To get a Veterinary college you have to give NEET exam. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for AIPVT 2019 on the basis of All India Rank secured in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam. Only aspirants who will register themselves online will be eligible to appear for AIPVT 2019 counselling.

Eligibility for B.V.Sc. and AH. If the candidate wishes to apply for Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) course then he must have passed the class 12 examination with science background. He should have secured a minimum of 55% in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an ‘ All India Pre Veterinary Test ’ (AIPVT) for admission to first year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges like Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner . This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.
In 2019, the admission in BVSc courses will be done on the basis of NEET 201 9 Score.
