CO (carbon monoxide) is probably the most harmful gas. Many gases like CO2 can cause suffocation if concentration is high enough. Most of the gases have toxic properties such as Carbon monoxide, Chlorine, Nitrogen dioxide, Phosgene etc. Gases used in industries possess highly toxic properties are Arsine(AsH3), Chlorine trifluoride(ClF3), Cyanogene, Diborane, Hydrogen cyanide, Nickel Tetracarbonyl, Tungsten hexafluoride.
Hello Tanvir,
Carbon Monoxide is the most harmful gas for human and it may kill you. Carbon monoxide (CO) probably is the most most harmful among every gases. CO can hold together more tightly than O2 with hemoglobin. It can thus cause oxygen deprivation. As we all know, it is a colorless. It is even odorless. And even tasteless gas. It is modestly less dense than air. It is harmful to both invertebrate and vertebrate, including humans when encountered in concentrations above about 35 ppm. In fact it is also produced in normal animal metabolism in low quantities. When spread in the atmosphere, it is spatially variable and short lived, having a role in the formation of ground-level ozone.
Thank you.
Hi,
Earth's atmosphere consists of a dynamic system of natural gases necessary to sustain life. While it has life giving gases, it also has some deadly poisonous gases: Following are the harmful gases on the earth:
Also there are more. Hope it helps you.
Hello
There are many harmful gases in environment like carbon monoxide, phosgene, nitrogen dioxide, even oxygen if 100% given for longer time
But the most dangerous of all is carbon monoxide (co) as it will not cause any sensation in body i.e. your body will not realise if you are inhaling this or not there will not be any sign and symptoms and the person will die
It dissolve rapidly in blood replacing oxygen and our body can only sense if co2 is increased which is not happening.
Hope this helps
