It's unfair to compare two different jobs in areas on contrasting features because each of these jobs have a different life routine and require various different skills at professional level.

PSU jobs refers to public sector units job which generally comprises of companies such as oil and natural gas corporation, Bharat Petroleum, Indian oil corporation Limited, Steel authority of India, etc. and the job recruitment is mainly done on the basis of GATE examination followed by interview rounds.

The software companies on the other hand, require both professional as well as practical knowledge of the candidate and he must know briefly about coding skills and other technicalities related to that field.
