Today, most of the undergraduates after education in whichever Engineering or Science Domain, mostly shift towards unconventional jobs like Sales, Software/IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Business Development or Data Analytics. Entry Level Jobs in these sectors are more and you must definitelt have seen how Recruiters like Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini Mass Recruit students from Private Universities for IT Roles, irrespective of their domains at a starting oay anywhere between 3-6 LPA.

Hence, if not Biotechnology, one can definitely get a Job in the above Roles and Profiles.

Biotechnology has somewhat less Job Prospects in India as far as Industry is concerned. Biotechnology Industries, mostly deal with Research & Development and prefer Postgraduates and Doctorates. Hence, if you must pursue MTech/MS/PhD firstly in a Biotech or related domain, followed by a Career in Research, Industry or Academia.
