The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.

Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.

The CMAT-2021 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges.

CMAT-2021 will be conducted by NTA as three hour entrance examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, for admission to the Management Courses in the Academic Session 2021-22. The participating Institutes of CMAT-2020 are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score.

The candidates aspiring for admission to MBA Course in the affiliated Colleges/Institutes of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, which was earlier covered under UPSEE, are required to apply for the CMAT – 2021, since the Score Sheet of CMAT – 2021 shall be used for admission to the MBA Course in AKTU affiliated Colleges/Institutes in the Academic Year 2021-22.

Common Management Aptitude Test, popularly known as CMAT, is a national level aptitude test conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various MBA/ PGDM courses. CMAT 2022 exam is expected to be held in February 2022, and CMAT registration  will tentatively begin in the first week of October 2021. In the 2021 session, around 71, 490 candidates registered for CMAT , and 52,327 appeared for the exam.
