Well, it does depends on your budget !! How much are you willing to spend on a Laptop.

For you as a student of B Tech, you should definitely look for the laptop with a dedicated graphics card. Look for a laptop of 6th, 7th, latest 8th generation, Look for what the RAM size 4GB/8GB- DDR3/DDR4, the features of the laptop, size of the laptop 14inch, 15inch etc.

Look for such a laptop which you can easily carry around. And the main thing, look for the graphics card as you would be playing around with a lot of software. I would go for the affordable the NVIDIA MX150 or the 940 MX graphics card and in addition to your study work, you will be able to spend some time playing so decent games like PUBG, Far Cry, Call of Duty etc
