Common Admission Test or CAT is the most popular MBA entrance exam with about 2 lakh takers every year. Conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), the CAT is the entrance exam for 20 IIMs and approximately 100 B-schools across India. The number of seats offered by the 20 IIMs is approximately 4,000.
