According to MHRD ranking VIT will be better choice .    In MHRD ranking vit was in top 5 university of india .

Vit has good infrastructure and discipline .

Nanda both the name which you have displayed in your query are best but as per my opinion in whichever college you will get you preferred branch then that only you have to select because it's difficult to compare among both these Universities. Since VIT is better in the NIRF ranking given by the MHRD infact MANIPAL is also better in the ranking as well. Since this Institute has an tag of INSTITUTE OF EMINENCE which shows the quality of this Institution. So overall among both these Universities whichever you are getting you're preferred branch that only you need to select.
