NIFT offers many courses :-
UG -
1. Fashion designing
2. Fashion communication
3. Accessory designing
4. Textile designing
5. Knitwear designing
6. Fashion technology
PG -
1. Master of fashion management
2. Master of design
3. Master of technology
Generally fashion designing is most preferred and those seats are filled up first. But, other courses are also interesting and have scope.
The first year is the foundation programme in which all design students are grouped together and learn basics and fundamentals. From the 2nd yr the students are divided according to their departments and learn the syllabus in their course.
You will get to learn sketching, knitting, stitching, creative thinking, latest fashion trends and many other concepts.
