Hi,
I hope you are healthy and fine.
Now if we look at previous years trends and try to find your common rank on the percentile will be somewhere between 112530 - 126500.
You can also check your expected rank by yourself using our rank predictor tool. Below I am attaching the link of it.
You should note that these ranks are calculated on the basis of past years Percentile vs Rank trends, so you should not be surprised by observing slight variation in the actual rank and the expected rank.
As you have mentioned that you are from OBC category so if we do some more analysis to find you category rank then it will be somewhere between 26,000 to 33,000.
Below I am enlisting the best choices for you in NITs.
- NIT Agartala - Computer Science
- NIT Patna - Electronics and Communication
- IIEST Shibpur - Electrical
- NIT Durgapur - Electrical
- NIT Hamirpur - Electronics + M.Tech
You can also use our rank predictor tool to see which colleges are in your rank range. Below I am pasting the link of it.
In case you are trying for another attempts of JEE Main then, i will suggest you to go through our supplement designed by our experts to boost your preparation. Below is the link of it.

All the very best!!
hello,
89 percentile would fetch a rank between 112530-126500. as of now its tough to say about fetching seat in college because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year . considering you from obc category, with your percentile ,you have tough chances to fetch seat for fetching in nits, iiits, gftis as the cutoff is high.you need better percentile of 98+ to fetch seat in top nits,iiits..you can try in private engineering colleges using your jee percentile. workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx ..for top private engineering colleges you can try for the below colleges through jeemains:
thapar university
BIT mesra
sastra university
Rewa Engineering College
srm university
amritha vishwa vidyapeetham

thankyou.
Since you didn't mention which branch you are aiming at, I assume you want any branch. So, you may get a few NIT's but it's very hard for you to get top branches in those. CSE/IT are mostly in demand that is why the competition is quite tough.
Still I am providing you a link which you should definitely check out.
