Both the NIT are more or less at par with each other. Choose the one which is at your Vicinity. Both MNNIT and VNIT have great infrastructure, faculty, research and placement prospects besides providing effective engineering education.

But many of my friends and relatives are suggesting me to go for mnnit allahabad so...should i go for it rather than Vnit...?

Depends on what youre getting. MNNIT is more or less a Great Institute, might opt for it. Incase your getting a better branch at VNIT, you may plan otherwise. VNIT being close to Mumbai and Pune have equally great career scope and opportunities.
