It is no doubt that BMS is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. And the professors in CSE department are very friendly (only if you keep them happy with certain marks) and if you don't get marks still you have knowledge then you may get detained. But I'll suggest to have minimum of 70% just to be safe for placements and further studies.

They will give you a lot of opportunities but again it's up to you to utilize them. There are internships and training programs but again there's a catch. They will ask you to pay for every training they provide apart from you regular fee.

And if by chance you are thinking to take admission by management quota, then please come with loaded pockets.

At last, most important thing is placement Many companies visit BMSIT campus and recruit students from CSE department. Around 95% students from CSE are placed few students go for higher studies and few students don't get placed because they don't have skills or required cut off marks to sit for aptitude.

SIT has also a decent CSE department. They are given pretty good exposure to the coding competition and internships no of companies visiting for placements is also Good.

If you have got good rankings in cet or jee and have got the opportunity to study in BMSIT go for it though SIT is also good.



As BMS is located in bangalore and is also one of the top colleges in karnataka you can go for it.

About SIT



Am current studying in SIT and the college provides good facilities to the students. Some of the faculty are too good while looking at some faculties you might think you know about the subject better than them.. but it happens in every college.. anyways you study by yourself in Engineering. But if you want any help from faculty they will be there for you.



We have many students club like Avalanche, Pathfinder , Quest and we have a programming club Decoders.



But the support from the management for such extra currucular activities is not much commandable but these clubs do conduct entertaining and useful events in the college .



About placement for cse



Many core companies visit our campus including Amazon for internship hiring,amedeus,Samsung R and D,Red bus,Netcracker, pega system, Siemens,Mysis,Akamai,sap lab,zscalar,JP Morgan,infomatica,minjar cloud,sociate general,e and y and many more.



But ultimately it will be you who will want to succeed.. though the college matters but it should be your effort to come up in life. . I know many of my seniors who share the cubicle with IITIans being from SIT .



So think wisely and select the college. And do enjoy your 4 years in engineering . Make loads of memories.
