Solution : The correct option is nitrogen .

Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas. While carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), methane (CH 4 ) and nitrous oxide (N 2 O) are greenhouse gases, nitrogen (N 2 ) is inert and does not significantly contribute to the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere, leading to global warming and climate change.
