there's no doubt telling you the fact that both the colleges are very popular and prestigious and academics of both the colleges is very good, even the placement rates of both the institutes are very good. but in NIT is better because
- Institute of national importance under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
- Excellent placement record. Average package in CSE is about 8 LPA with all time highesy as 67 LPA.
- NIT brand value gives you an edge in your CV.
- The peer group of CSE in the institute are the top 2% bright students of the nation.

See, both the colleges are quite famous. NIt jamshedpur is popular because of its NIT tag and its facilities with good placement records and is counted among top NITs. On the other hand MSRIT is quite famous engineering college in karnataka under KCET entrance exam , it also has good facilities and placement records for core branches. But if you are confusing to choose any of these to get admission , then you are advised to choose NIt if you are getting your desired seat there. But if you are getting you are getting CSe or ECE in MSRIt then join that.
