Hello Aspirant,

Both BBA and B.Com are 3-year undergraduate degree course. BBA is a professional course focusing on theory of Management Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources where as a B.Com. is a traditional course which focuses on the theoretical knowledge about fundamental subjects of commerce such as Accounts, Administration, Finance, Economics, and Industrial Policy.

Job Prospects after doing BBA- You can secure an entry-level managerial positions in Banking Sector, Consultancy Firm, IT Companies, Advertising Agencies etc. Growth opportunities will increase if you will plan to pursue an MBA degree from a credible institute.

Job prospects after doing B.Com- As the B.Com degree provides a solid theoretical grounding which can be brilliant for careers in finance, taxation or accountancy. B.Com graduates can work in different industries such as Banks, Consultancy firms, Tax Practitioner, Junior Accountant etc. Growth opportunities will increase if you’ll plan to pursue CA/ICWA/CS/CFA.

Both the courses are equally rewarding, highly paying and has a lot of potential in terms of growth. You should choose either of the courses according to your own interest.

Hope this helps

Good luck!!
