Which one is better? B.com., or BBA.,
Hi. The choice between BBA or B Com solely depends upon your inclination, aptitude and passion. Both of them are a 3 year course after 12th and offers multiple career choices. Generally, people who want to pursue B.Com want to be hardcore financial number crunchers, they are people generally devoted to financing sector and even if they pursue MBA after B.Com they generally choose finance as their area of specialization.
Both BBA and Bcom offer similar career Opportunity. But if the students are interested to become a CA, CS or CFA, then B.com will be a better option for students. BBA offers knowledge and skills in the area of Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
At the end choose what you would feel comfortable with. Regards.
Dear Aspirant ,
B.Com (Hons) is the best course if you’re confused, it is tougher hence has a much better value for placements, it gives you tons of options afterwards unlike BBA.
If someone wants to have a startup of his own, BBA is better, it focusses on management, but for someone who has a need of asking this question on Quora, B.Com (Hons) anyday! BBA is quite easy and anyone can do it, B.Com (Hons) is comparatively tougher, specifically designed for people with a good performance in commerce in the past. It makes you smarter, you end up with knowledge of wider areas for the future, while in BBA you spend much of the time in doing things that you did in 11th and 12th and just making them a bit tougher.
In B.Com (Hons) you learn new things such as corporate law, business law, business mathematics, statistics, economics, English, business communication, income tax laws, corporate and cost accounting, it’s much more practical and has less of rote learning.
Don't get me wrong, you will learn new things in any course that you take in college including BBA, but it's more of an extension of senior secondary commerce than a whole new learning experience all together.
Hope this information helps you,
Thank you .
