BCA is a 3 years course in Computer Application. A student having Engish and mathematics as a compulsory subject can apply. The course fee is less compare to B. Tech. You may need to appear for CET Examinations. BCA syllabus deals with software language and Management. After BCA students go for MBA, but some look into jobs in IT fields. Starting as a Junior Programmer and then promoted to a higher role.

B. Tech is a 4-year undergraduate degree in CSE/IT/Mechanical/Civil/ECE/EEE. Only 12 students with science stream can apply. The course fee is higher than BCA. Hope this information is helpful.
All the best for the future.
Dear,
According to me both BCA and BTech are very popular courses in India. While B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering focuses on intensive programming, developing new technologies and concepts, and mathematical skills, BCA focuses more on practical technologies and applications used in daily life. BTech is more about developing concepts and testing them, whereas BCA is the study of putting these concepts to use.
It is difficult to say which one of the two graduate degrees is better, because they are not only fundamentally different in terms of course content, eligibility and duration, but also in terms of the career avenues they offer. If you have completed your 10+2 with PCM and you think you can crack one of the engineering entrance exams, then BTech is a good choice. However, if you have passed your 10+2 in Commerce, Art or Medical stream, but you have decided to shift your focus to IT, your only option is a BCA. So well it depends on you.
Hope this helps! Good luck.
Hi,
It totally depends on your choice of interest.
If you're interested in Engineering/Technology, you may very well choose B.Tech
If you're interested in Software, you can choose BCA
Although, both courses are highly popular in India and the cost of learning BCA is less compared to B.Tech
