hey,
i hope you are doing well
B.tech stands for bachelor of technology while B.E stands for bachelor of engineering , B.tech is more practical oriented course and B.E focus more on theoretical course, both the courses is of 4 years .where engineering deals with theoretical knowledge and concepts , technology more emphasize on practical knowledge , in B.tech program you will get opportunity of industrial visit and internships , while in B.E there will be nothing like that., to be a good software engineer and to have a good hand on coding i would suggest you to choose B.tech
hope this helps!
hello aspirant,
both the terms have the same meaning,
earlier BE was used instead of BTech.
BE stands for bachelor of engineering and BTech stands for bachelor of technology, both persuing the same course and have the same meaning.
some colleges still use the term BE while some other colleges use BTech.
hope that helps
all the best
College Comparison based on Courses, Placement, Rank, Fee
Hello dear aspirant
Actually , there is not much difference between BE i.e Bachelor of Engineering and BTech i.e Bachelor of Technology
The difference just lies in their name, generally the University or Colleges which of various courses like BSc ,Bcom etc along engineering courses , name their engineering course as BE , while college /universities which offers only in engineering courses etc name the engineering course as BTech.
One minor difference between BE and BTech is that,BE is a bit more theoretical oriented while BTech is more application based oriented.
But there's no major difference in BE and BTech , both are equally reputed and both have almost same syllabus, course etc .
So , you can go for any of BE Computer Science or BTech computer science , but in case if you are still concerned then go for BTech computer science
Thankyou
