Which one is better? Doing a Liberal Arts course (with journalism as major) or a normal degree related to Mass Media and Communication?
Answer (1)
liberal arts and journalism are two very different subject areas. liberal arts is cinema, theatre, films, whereas journalism is gathering news, packaging it and disseminating the same through mediums. If you are interested in Liberal arts, go for a specialisation related to that domain, like, film studies, film critic or even documentary. If you are yet to decide, you cal go for a general PG or masters degree in mas comm, where you will study all, and then as your interest develops select a specialisation in your last semester.
