Which one is better doing btech from upes(petroleum branch) or from vit vellore campus(CS branch) ???

The main thing you have to take into consideration is your field of interest. The two streams that you have prescribed is entirely different from each other. Both of these are good options but if you are interested in computer stuffs, CSE from VIT Vellore would be more good.
