First of all you need to understand both the branches.

ECE is the branch which deals with electronics and tranformation of information acroos channels such as coax cable, optical fibre, etc.

ISE is the branch which deals with software. It contains coding, here you have to develop software applications and websites. It is more software than hardware. It is near CSE branch.

Now you know the difference between them, so you have to choose the one which interests you more and in which you have passion to learn coding or electronics!

Talking about placements, both the branche have good placements with  a lot of options.
