Let me compare them both so you can get the aspects you need to ponder over. I would be covering five aspects 1. Ranking 2.Location 3.Fees 4 Placements 5 infrastructure and teachers:-

Ranking : - Both college, according to me, are same if it comes to ranking of college. If you go on to compare students on both campus, the students out there have almost same rank in Jee mains.

Location : - IIIT Naya Raipur is about 25 km away from Raipur station (and the area is a bit isolated), which is a big location disadvantage (It doesn’t mean you would not survive there, surely you will) if you compare to IIIT Guwahati which is only 1 km from railway station.

Fees :-Fees for IIIT Guwahati is as follows:-

INSTITUTE FEE

Caution Money (One Time, Refundable) - ₹5,000

Tuition Fee (per Semester) — ₹1, 00,000

Other fees:-20,000

HOSTEL FEE

Hostel Seat Rent (per Semester) ₹12,500

Mess Advance (per Month) —- ₹4,000

So for one year fees is around 3 lakhs per year for IIIT Guwahati

Fees for IIIT Naya Raipur is as:-

Onetime payment 6750 Rs

Tuition Fees (Waived off for all First Year students) Rs 45000

Medical Insurance + PHC Fee Rs 1000

TOTAL (Rs. 3000 for I & II Semesters and Rs. 48000 from III Semester onwards) Rs 48000.

So for 1st year your fees are waived and the fees are charged from 2nd year, but again a surprise for you.. There are more waivers:-

Tuition Fee Waiver (For all students according to merit, reservation is also there)

The present tuition fee waiver model is as follows:

1. 100% tuition fee waiver for 100% of the students for 1st year i.e. 2018-19

2. 100% tuition fee waiver for 50% of all the students promoted to 2nd year.

3. 100% tuition fee waiver for 33% of all the students promoted to 3rd year.

100% tuition fee waiver for 25% of all the students promoted to 4th year.
