your interest is more important than the fame of a course. you must go for the course that you would like to study.
if we talk about the demand, due to more number of IT companies over telecom, the demand for CS engineers is more over EC engineers.
if you are confused, go for CSE.also, if you have an interest in programming, go for CSE.
check fot the syllabus of CSE and ECE at dtu.ac.in and make a comparison.

DTU is one of the best engineering colleges of India, each and every thing about DTU is good, it has good placement, good infrastructure and a good campus.
In the modern scenario, computer science engineering has more demand than ece branch, so I will suggest you to opt for cse i. e computer science engineering at DTU.
