your interest is more important than the fame of a course. you must go for the course that you would like to study.

if we talk about the demand, due to more number of IT companies over telecom, the demand for CS engineers is more over EC engineers.

if you are confused, go for CSE.also, if you have an interest in programming, go for CSE.

check fot the syllabus of CSE and ECE at dtu.ac.in and make a comparison.
