Which one is better NSIT or DTU for purse btech in computer engineering?

You are comparing apples to oranges. The choice of better just depends on your taste. In terms of placements the  stats are approximately same  (NSIT wins on Software, DTU wins on core and non-tech).

Dont get tricked when someone says DTU has more students, so placements will suck. The competition will make you perform better,If you do great at any of the places, youll end up getting placed with a decent package.

Also, the median salary at DTU (all branches) was 9lpa (source: NIRF), dont know about NSIT.
