NEITHER OF THEM if you do not know what programme you want to enroll in. If you are sure of what course you want to take up then go ahead and research a little bit about growing trends in placements and scope of the concerned course. Make your decision very carefully. To be on the safer side, you can take a drop year because going abroad is a huge investment, and you don't want to be regretting it later.
Hello Gaurav,
If you are planning for engineering, I would suggest you to take a one year drop and study well for engineering. It is always beneficial to go for higher studies abroad, as it would not cost as much as it would cost you for your engineering there. If you are an average student, then I would suggest you to go for abroad studies now itself. The reason behind this is that a mere one year drop should not affect your placement process later on. Further, you would be subjected to more opportunities abroad and would be gaining more exposure in terms of internships, etc. So depending on your capability and willpower to study the same subjects once again or study new subjects, you can easily take the decision of whether you should go abroad at this stage or not.
I hope that the above provided information is helpful to you.
All the best..!!!
