Which one is better regarding career, mechanical vs computer science
Hello,
As far as the recent trends are concerned, Computer Science will fetch you far better placement opportunities and salaries as compared to Mechanical stream. Many the colleges touch above 90% placement percentage in CS branch, however, the placement percentage of Mechanical branch is slightly lower.
However, there are many Mechanical candidates who get recruited in IT sector companies. Ultimately, placements and career solely depends on the skills of the candidates.
Hope this helps!
Hello,
Both the courses are good and are different.
Mechanical engineering deals with the mechanics of physics and science to analyze, manufacture and design mechanical systems. Whereas Computer Science is a branch of engineering which deals in the study of basics of computer programming and networking, which includes topics related to computation, algorithms, programming languages, program design, computer software, computer hardware, etc
You should choose based on which field you find more interesting, since then you will be able to perform well in that field and get better placement offers.
Still out of the two courses the scope for getting jobs with decent salary packages is higher for CSE as compared to Mechanical Engineering.
CSE has a lot of career opportunities. SOme of the career options are Software Engineer, Software Tester, Project Manager, Application Developer, Big Data Engineer, Data Scientists, Computer Network Architect, Lecturer/Professor, etc
