A BDS is a specialisation in Dental Surgery, as the name suggests. After earning a BDS, you can pursue a variety of vocations, including Dentist, Orthodontist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Technician, and other related positions.
After completing a BAMS programme, you can pursue an M.D. or M.S. Ayurveda degree in any comparable specialty. A BAMS programme can help you get started on your path to becoming an Ayurvedic physician.
I'd request you to really consider your motivation. If you're interested in taking care of dental health of your patients and don't find anything repulsive about it, go for it. On the other hand, Ayurveda is getting popular abroad too. I know a dentist friend who can get a job anywhere in the world. Both jobs have its pros and cons.
After either degree, you can for MBA in something like hospital management.
Opportunities are diverse. Research a bit. Then choose a degree. Please don't choose it solely for money.
