Nile is the longest river in the world. It is formed by the confluence of the river Blue Nile and White Nile. It originates from Burundi in Africa and drains into Mediterranean Sea. It has a length of about 6656 km.  Its drainage basin includes parts of Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan, and the cultivated part of Egypt. Amazon River and Yangtze river are the second and third longest river respectively.
