Choosing course should be based on interest. Actually there is difference between them in All aspect so please go according to your interest. Good luck

see this entirely depends upon your field of interest
if your interest is in mechanical and you think you can deal with machines you can go for mechanical engineering
if your interest lies in structures and construction go for civil
