hi britt, NEET is vital for you, i say this because its the deciding factor and if you really prepare well for neet, passing state board would be easier, i shall tell you how you can prepare ideally

Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too

Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can, always stay calm , cool and confident, hope this helps good luck buddy

Honestly , if you have studied properly for neet then boards would not be much difficult to study for since questions are more knowledge based and you do not require to learn much for it. I will tell how i prepared for both then you can make the required changes according to your need and wish

By december i had already completed my syllabus .so in january i revised everything . then in februrary i used to do sample papers for class 12 th and revised for boards but alongwith it i used to solve atleast 1 mock test for neet everyday . so that i could study for borh boards and neet.

I know i somewhat cared less about boards but that was becoz i felt if i had studied properly for neet then i would be able to perform well i boards too . boards are not anything where you have to mug up and write essay , one can get good marks if concepts are clear.

By this way i completed many sample papers for neet .

Then in march i was busy with boards

And in april , i did previous year papers and studied topics which i felt i was weak in.

I hope it helps

All the very best

Dear Britt,

It's not about giving preference or giving more time to one thing, if you study sincerely for NEET automatically state board thing will fell into place.

Now you need is to study for 12th class syllabus  only but as for NEET preparation ,  this will help you for boards too and to cover 11th class syllabus,  you can do it after your boards when you will get 2 months before NEET.

Good luck

Hello Britt, As per your query i would like to tell you for sure  you should give preference to NEET  exam. Board exam marks is the only eligibility criteria for appearing in NEET. you have to devote most of time say 80 % in NEET preparation and 20 % in board exam preparation..

Hope it helps.

Hi Britt O Dominic

Obviously go with NEET, because, in NEET only the basic 50% marks are required.

Get yourself prepared for NEET and grab a seat in our very first attempt itself.

Here are the way how you can start studying smartly for  NEET

  • Introspect yourself :- make a checklist that what you know already and what you have to know for the NEET. Go through the syllabus once and check your level, that from where you have to start.
  • Plan the Journey :- After Introspecting, Start from the very basic and plan out the journey for the whole syllabus a set some deadline for yourself so that you can progress in a pre defined manner.
  • Never Give Up :- It is the golden rule to achieve the goal. Build up yourself and your confidence not to give up even in the hardest situation. THink positive, talk to positive people, ask queries, make mistakes and learn from all these things. Stand by your decision and motivate yourself time to time.

Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET

  • Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
  • Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
  • Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
  • Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
  • Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
  • Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
  • Never give up even at your low time.
  • Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
  • Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.

All the best

NEET

Because, your admission to college is based on NEET marks. Board exams are just a qualification. So concentrate more on NEET.

You nee to get a minimum of 60% in Board exams to become eligible. So don't worry on Board exams. Other thing is that there will be many overlapping concepts between board and NEET. This will fetch you more marks.

Obviously preference should be given to neet because nobody is ask ur board marks once u get into a medical college .

And as the syllabus for both is same so I m sure u will be able to score good marks in board too if u prepare for neet properly .

Ofcourse NEET, IT is a deciding exam helps you for your future. But don't neglect boards, if you don't pass you won't be eligible. But focus on neet.
