which one will be better? btech or BCA?

You should go for B.Tech, because you get chance of admission in renowned college of India, like IIT, NIT, IIIT which are not only big names. They provide the best of best faculties, peer groups, placements,  big campus which is what every 12th pass out want. For BCA, even if you do this from best BCA colleges like

SIU Pune, Model Colony Campus
Christ University
Loyola College etc

then also you may get 10 lpa package at max also the job profile will be lower than that of B.Tech. passouts, I am talking about good product based companies not about service based companies. Doing B.Tech from top colleges like DTU with good branch can fetch you 25 lakhs lpa at the starting of your career. So investing one more year in B.Tech is better than doing BCA. To get good package you have to do B.Tech. from good colleges otherwise you can be jobless after completing B.Tech.

Are you asking for B.tech CSE & BCA?

It depends on your interest & capability. B.Tech computer science and engineering is better as it will provide you an engineering degree after the completion of your course & if you do it from a reputed institute then you will get a decent placement so it would be better than BCA. If you have a keen interest in computers and want to save time and money you must opt for BCA but scope is there only after following with MCA Degree.
